Just a little mooshy content.
Wassup y’all?! Yeah, it has definitely been a minute since I made a blog post. Just to keep it a buck, I really really been slacking on shooting and creating new photography content. My heavy obsessive addiction to Pickleball might partially be the reason why, also just been tired from work on the weekdays. But, to cut all the bullshit, I just really been lacking in having the creative juices to make some new content.
Well, I finally have some new content to share with you guys this week. My girlfriend wanted to shoot some content for her flower business to promote for Valentine’s Day. So, I just thought of some simple romantical, cutesy, and mooshy poses. Since the our picnic photoshoot we did last year was such a hit, I figured we do another one.

The vibe I was going for in this photoshoot was something chill, natural, everyday, and something that would simply capture us as a couple. So, a lot of the things we did in this photoshoot is actually stuff we would do on the regular. Well, maybe we made it more cheesy and exaggerated just for the shoot, to make it more interesting for the content. Because, in the end its all about the content, right? There are little things in the details that are like easter eggs that convey our hobbies and things that we are into. Drop a comment below mentioning the ones that you notice.

Originally, we wanted to shoot the photos inside of the coffee shop, but all the seats were taken. We ended up moving the shoot to the outside of the shop, which I think worked way better in our favor. I think if we were to shoot inside, the lighting would’ve been a little more difficult to work with and my camera would kinda be cramping up people’s personal space. At first, it felt a little awkward posing and shooting in front of the shop as people were walking by. It isn’t as awkward if we had somebody else behind the camera and shooting. But, in theory, these photos are all selfies, because I was in control of the camera using my phone without needing to be behind the camera. Thank God for bluetooth connectivity that I didn’t need to use a self timer and was able to see how everything looked in every frame that I shot. No wild guessing here!

After getting the awkward nerves out, we got in the zone and were able to crank out a good amount of shots and poses. The amount of ease that was in this shoot compared to our picnic shoot is unparalleled. The lens I used for this shoot made things so easy to get the framing down perfectly. I now truly understand why the 16mm is a crowd favorite! I don’t think I have even removed it from my camera since I bought it. Easily, my favorite lens in my small arsenal. I’m even considering to sell all my other lenses and just having this 16mm as my one and only lens. Overall, this was a fun shoot to do. Also, I’m super happy that I got to make some new content. It got my creative juices flowing ever so slightly. I have a couple ideas for some fun shoots with friends. Just need to brainstorm the execution and plan when we can get together and shoot.
I’ll wrap it up here. Take a look at some of my favorites from this shoot. Hope you enjoy! ‘Til the next one.
