B Rolls Vol. 2

I have been extremely lacking on getting my film rolls developed. Thats why I haven’t had another installment of blogging my 35mm film photography. Honestly, I just really been lacking on bringing my cameras around and just shooting. Hopefully now that Spring has sprung, and better weather is ahead of us, I will start shooting more again. I do have a couple possible gigs coming up soon. But, I really need to get the ball rolling again.

Alright, back to these film rolls. I finally had two rolls developed after MONTHS of having them. One of these rolls dates back to around September. Some of these pictures are actually from the very first time my friends and I ever played Pickleball. Then we have pictures from Thanksgiving ‘24, my last days at Timbuk2, when we did a game show for one of my friend’s birthdays, and from our most recent Tahoe trip that I recapped.

Shot on: Fujifilm Natura Classica, Kodak Portra 400.

None of these pictures have been worked on or edited on my end. These were just developed and scanned for digital storage. I feel that editing digital scans of film photos takes away from the fun mysteries of the imperfections of film photography. Also, these photos were all shot on a small point and shoot film camera rather than a film SLR camera, meaning there is no turning dials to get the proper exposure or light metering. My point and shoot (Fujifilm Natura Classica) just does all the work, I just have to find my subject matter for the shot.

I found another random of undeveloped film in a jacket, so I will have Vol. 3 relatively soon; at least once I finish up shooting the current roll I have now. ‘Til the next one, hope you folks enjoy these random moments captured on film.
